Multiple Teams · Exciting News in LHS Soccer

Both the Boys and Girls have will win the Team Academic Award presented by United Soccer Coaches Association, the World Largest Soccer Coaches association. You must have a combined for the entire year a 3.25 GPA for all Varsity team members, this is our 3rd year winning it…Not announced yet but we have met the qualifications and will win it.
Sea Turtles, our summer soccer 3v3 team, have received an invite again for 3v3 Nationals again in Memphis Nov. 29- Dec. 1
Our team went to Nashville Under the Lights, largest 3v3 in the Southeast, this past July 14 and finished 2nd. They lost in group play to the #2 team in the country. Went on to beat the #1 ranked team, a visiting team out of Brazil, before losing in the Final to the #3 team in a clase game. Members of that team include: Johnny McDonald, Alex Bowie, Josue Recinos, Jack DeVane, Miller DeVane and Noah Whipple. We are going all will be going to try to win a National Championship title in November.
Our rising 8th graders Sea Turtles 05 team just received an invite to Nationals as they finished 3rd in Nashville Under the Lights, They beat the #8 team 10-0. In the playoffs  they lost a close game to the #4 team in the country 7-6 which pushed them into the 3rd place game which they won 9-0. Members include current 8th graders Luke McSpadden, Cade Hollstrom, Ty Ormsby.Current 7th graders Anthony Castillo and Romans Outland.
We would like to congratulate Noah Whipple for making ODP, Olympic Developmental Program, this past weekend. In doing so he is been recognized as one of the top players in the state in his age group. Only 26 players in the state were selected for the 2003 Age group.
Last Year Jack DeVane was selected 1 of 3 Goalkeepers to make the 2002 ODP Team last year as well as Tripp Hollstrom for the 04 team last year.
